CHRISTMAS AT HILL FARM

“My father died when he was only 54. At his funeral there were roses everywhere and all the colors of the rainbow. To look at my dad you would never guess that he was a man who loved roses with a passion. It is because of his love that I wanted to read this book.”

Billy Lapp was a young Amish man who lived with his father and older brothers. Life was hard for him as they treated him horribly. One day he woke up and said to himself “No more.” He left his home and never looked back.

Billy got a job at Penn State University’s greenhouse. He took care of all the plants and flowers there. He became known as a Rose Rustler. It was his job to go out when someone called and thought they may have an unidentified rose.

One day his boss came to where he was working at. She handed him a note, and said she had a call and wanted him to check out a rose. He just sat the note down and did not pay attention to it for awhile.

When he did he felt his world begin to spin. He tried to think of a way to get out of going, but could not. The address on the paper was Rose Hill Farm. Back to the town he ran away from. Back to where a young woman who was still in love with him.
You will meet a character named George. George has a way of showing up at just the right time when he is needed. I hope all who read this book enjoys it as much as I have.
